The Legacy of 50 Years

Fifty years, 600 months, 2600 weeks, half a century. No matter how you count it, Rosenfeld’s Bagels has been a part of the Greater Newton community for a very long time and we’re told that our influence has been widespread. From being a part of so many people’s daily routines and annual traditions, to giving back to our community in annual events ranging from school fundraisers to dance-a-thons and food festivals, Rosenfeld’s is proud to be more than just a business, we’re humbled to be an integral part of the city and those who call Newton home.

Supporting Community
Every year, we support numerous organizations, big and small, throughout the Greater Boston area. From local schools and synagogues to the Newton Food Pantry and Dana Farber Cancer Institute, we believe in giving back to the community in which we live and work. We take great pleasure in seeing the success of the organizations we support and have enjoyed watching our neighbors grow and thrive.

Community and Holiday Traditions
Nothing delights us more than knowing our breads and bagels are a special part of so many family and holiday traditions. Our High Holiday tents have become a welcome sight every fall and bread pick up is an event all its own. We love seeing our customers come together during this time, connecting, reminiscing and even making new friends. We always love to hear the stories of how you make Rosenfeld’s a part of your special days. Please keep sharing with us.

A Culinary Influencer
Not in a million years, let alone 50, could Marc Rosenfeld have imagined that his legacy would influence the future of the culinary world, but here we are. Rosenfeld’s Bagels has received numerous awards for both bagels and Challah, and our shop has been featured multiple times in prestigious publications including Cooks Illustrated and America’s Test Kitchen. We’ve even helped to inspire others to open their own bakeries halfway around the world. Who would’ve thought a simple bagel could influence so much?

We are truly humbled by the impact our little shop has been able to make, and our team is forever appreciative of the support of our community. Here’s to another 50 years and the unpredictable wonders it will bring!
